Bring your knowledge of research and analysis to the following role: - Receive, research, and assist in written and telephonic responses to inquiries related to pre-authorization and case management requests for service.
- Request appropriate medical records and utilize knowledge and experience to analyze contractual or administrative issues related to requests.
- Advise and refer to appropriate clinical personnel when necessary.

Duties: |
Combine your healthcare experience with the following skills: - Minimum of 3 years experience in health care setting, medical field, medical insurance company and/or equivalent experience/education.
- Demonstrated excellent computer skills and proficiency working with windows based software.
- 40 WPM typing, 10-key ability
- Interpret policies and procedures and communicate effectively.
- Make decisions and exercise good judgment in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment, learn and retain new or evolving information and procedures.
- Work under stress and pressure and respond to inquiries with tact, diplomacy and patience.
- Work in a team environment.
- Exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, ICD and CPT coding.
- Knowledge of contract and understanding of contract benefits.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette.
- Ability to understand, follow directions, and perform complex and detailed work with accuracy and within established time frames.
- Possess analytical, mature judgment, and capable of working independently.
