Major information provider is seeking a editor/writer for the company's healthcare division. Successful candidates will have stellar academic credentials in English, journalism, or a related field and experience working with minimal supervision on deadline-driven projects. Prior publishing experience preferred but not required. Candidates should be highly inquisitive, eager to learn new markets, and able to respond quickly to multiple tasks in an entrepreneurial environment.

Duties: |
Produce up to 3 monthly medical coding publications by assigned deadlines. Produce work that meets or exceeds coding newsletter recipe standards. Work closely with consulting editors and supervisors to learn markets and select topics that fit audience needs. Oversee production and proofing of content.

Qualifications: |
Education Required: Top candidates will have an undergraduate degree in journalism or relevant discipline with excellent academic credentials.
Skills: Proficiency in Word and ability to research and source material from a variety of online resources. Proficiency in Quark recommended but not required.
Experience: Previous experience in a deadline-driven content position preferred. |
