| Fast growing Information Technology support company is looking for an experienced technical support engineer to join its IT team. This individual will direct and oversee daily IT functions, for a group of small businesses, through a "hands-on" ownership approach. Primary focus will be Systems Adminstration, networking, and user support. |
Duties: |
What you'll be doing:
You will be responsible for the IT operations for multiple small and medium size businesses.
Support internally managed applications (e.g. monitoring tools)
Participate as a team member on implementation projects
Deliver availability and response/resolution metrics that meet or exceed defined Service Level Agreements |
Qualifications: |
What you need for this position:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT Operations; with a proven track record.
Ability to diagnose, isolate, troubleshoot, and fix technical issues under pressure.
Experience in user support and training, vendor management, operating systems, and hardware
Ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels and diplomatically manage customer expectations.
Self-driven, resourceful with strong sense of urgency and a willingness to "do whatever it takes" to get the job done.
Strong understanding of Windows 2003 Servers and Active Directory Domains. (MCSA/MCSE or related similar skills/experience desired).
Solid foundation of networking and security protocols within a Windows environment (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IPSec, etc.) Strong knowledge of hardware (server, laptop, PC, printer, network, and etc.) |
