Bring your system admin expertise to the following role: - Participate in a team environment for the installation, upgrades, testing and maintenance with a focus on File Net P8.
- Expected duties include but are not limited to: hardware installation and configuration; operating system and support software installation, upgrade, and patches; performance tuning; and documentation.
- Adhere to Regence standards and methodologies. Those include, but are not limited to: technical and architecture standards, production implementation standards, regular status reporting, regular participation in team meetings, regular one on one meeting with supervisor and team lead, and providing work estimates and regular time tracking.
- Additional responsibilities include administering the integration of licensed and/or in-house developed applications and writing programs and/or scripting to integrate with other systems.

Qualifications: |
Combine your degree and environment experience with the following skills and abilities: System Admin III: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; Appropriate additional experience beyond the minimum required experience may be substituted for education.
- FileNet or other Enterprise Content Management (ECM) experience such as Documentum, Open Text, Interwoven; and Hummingbird is required.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the implementation, operations, development and maintenance of IT systems and/or administration of Software functions in multi-platform and multi-system environments. This may include one or more of the following: mainframe computer operations, production technical support for mainframe, mainframe storage administration, storage subsystems administration, UNIX system administration, PC server administration, web infrastructure, or firewall administration.
- Must have experience with infrastructure management techniques such as change management, problem management, release management, configuration management and/or system lifecycle.
- A strong understanding of the MS and/or UNIX environment including common suites and core business applications.
- Must have a strong understanding of the appropriate environments for assigned applications.
- Experience in project management techniques and the ability to lead projects to a timely successful outcome.
- Experience in understanding/translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Ability to: - Develop efficient and effective program and system solutions in solving light to medium complex business problems.
- Automate tasks and document them for others to use.
- Analyze, diagnose and resolve system performance problems or outages.
- Be technically proficient in core technologies and methodologies used by the team.
- Effectively adapt to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies and apply them to technological and/or business needs.
- Take direction from others in analyzing and solving program and system issues and problems.
- Upgrade IBM operating system software and third party software.
- Plan and document medium to large product upgrades.
- Project/forecast time allocation for project completion.
- Plan and manage own work, as well as that of others.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with coworkers and all levels of management.
System Admin IV: Same qualifications of a Level III, plus: - A minimum of 7 years experience in the areas stated above.
