Simply Mac has a great opportunity for someone with management experience and Apple ACTC certification (required within 90 days of employment), to manage our Colorado Springs location. Simply Mac will provide the tools, training and the expertise needed to be successful in this position. The candidate will be required to provide the initiative, desire, creativity, and professionalism the job demands. The success of the individual in this role will be determined by the candidate's ability to develop a sales team while providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction, and operational excellence. This opportunity will bring the candidate face to face with a variety of customers from individuals, small businesses and creative professionals.
Position summary: A Simply Mac Store Manager is required to diligently execute the official sales program and all duties described below. The position emphasizes skills in the areas of operations, leadership, team development, and sales/ customer service in a retail environment. The Store Manager will primarily be responsible for one retail location and 10-15 employees within a store and reports to the Director of Sales. The Store Manager position is a critical role in the company, and requires a well-rounded and determined individual that will take part in the growth of the company.
Core objective: A Simply Mac Store Manager is required to diligently and effectively execute the Sales Program of the company and fulfill the division’s Sales, Operations, and Team Development.
| Duties: | Position responsibilities:
Meet or Exceed Sales Goals:
• 45+ hours a week with availability to work retail hours.
• Track daily and month-to-date Revenue and GP subsidies of the branch and every employee within the branch; performance board must be updated daily by 10am
• Report daily sales numbers to the Director of Sales by 9:00am
• Conduct daily one on ones with subordinates
• Execute the Branch Routine thoroughly
• Maintain a minimum FTE Goal for personal sales
• Exceed branch performance standard for sales at 100% of plan
• Monitor and manage employee performance to ensure that each employee is maximizing their sales potential and obtaining the metrics set for each of the top ten categories
Development of Staff:
• Lead and develop Sales, Service, Training and Installation Managers to effectively manage and lead their teams to successful fulfillment of the Sales Division’s vision and objectives.
• Mentor employees in leadership and sales skills through the company’s sales programs– namely the daily one on ones, weekly meetings and monthly employee evaluations.
• Motivate, educate, and train employees on how to fulfill Simply Mac’s mission statement- namely to exceed customer expectation in friendliness, product knowledge, and salesmanship
• Conduct monthly performance evaluations of all employees
• Be fully certified and support all HR, Training, Finance, Marketing, and Operational initiatives
• Ensure that Simply Mac’s employee philosophy is inherent in all management approaches which is that all subordinates feel that their personal success is paramount in the eyes of their direct supervisor. This “caring” management attitude must be evident in all management activities
• Fulfill the Team Development focus of our sales, operations and team development as it pertains to the daily one on ones, weekly meetings and monthly employee evaluations.
Accountability for Daily Operational Activities:
• Ensure that every employee within the branch is doing the opening and closing procedures of the routine to uphold store appearance, cleanliness, merchandise and staffing standards
• Plan weekly branch meetings that address sales, operations and team development.
• Monitor inventory and shrinkage as required
• Count serialized items at each branch daily
• Assure the quality experience as per our Mission Statement of our customers
• Supervise the proper execution of the Branch Routine which includes no apathy
• Assure uniformity and enforcement of the Policies and Procedures
• Protect the company against fraudulent and harmful activities
• Hire qualified employees that meet Simply Mac’s standards
• Other duties as assigned
| Qualifications: | Essential skills and experience:
• Apple/Mac and technology industry experience
• Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience
• Knowledge of markets and industry trends
• Ability to manage multiple employees in a vigorous retail environment
• Creative and proactive thinking skills
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications
Valued but not required skills and experience:
• MBA, BA/BS
• Apple Certified or ability to become certified with minimal training in:
o Apple Sales Training Online (ASTO) – Product Professional
o Apple Certified Help Desk Specialist (ACHDS)
o Apple Certified Trainer – Pro Products (ACTPP)
o Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTS)

• Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level of the work environment is usually low but some construction tools may be used by the employee or in the immediate vicinity of the employee.
